Advisory Built For
The Decisions
That Matter Most

SKL Advisors provides corporate finance and strategic advisory to founder-led and closely held businesses, mid-market companies, and the investors who back them. Our work spans the full arc of a company’s life — from early growth through inflection points, transactions, and transition.

Corporate Strategy

Strategy is only as useful as its connection to execution. The work with owners and management teams centers on defining strategic priorities…

evaluating growth options, and aligning capital allocation with long-term value creation — always with an eye on financing and transaction implications from the start.

For founder-led companies, this often includes professionalizing planning and governance, clarifying roles and accountability, and positioning the business for what comes next — without sacrificing the entrepreneurial culture that made it successful in the first place.

Engagements typically include competitive and market reviews, portfolio and segment analysis, and the development of actionable roadmaps grounded in operational reality.

Growth Capital & Financing

Access to the right capital — at the right terms, from the right partner — can define the trajectory of a business. The wrong structure constrains it.

SKL Advisors helps companies assess their capital needs, prepare for the market, and secure appropriate financing from banks, private credit providers, and equity investors. The work spans the full capital stack — from senior debt and mezzanine financing to preferred equity and convertible structures.

For founder-led and privately held companies in particular, the focus is on helping owners understand the real trade-offs among structure, valuation, covenant, and control — ensuring that growth capital serves the business’s long-term objectives rather than constraining them.

Succession & Exit

These are among the most consequential decisions a founder or family business owner will ever make — and among the most underplanned.

SKL Advisors works with owners to clarify objectives, evaluate strategic alternatives, prepare the business and management team for transition, and — when appropriate — design and manage competitive sale processes that optimize value while protecting legacy, culture, and key relationships.

Haitham brings to this work the experience of having done it: structuring a management buy-out, transforming a business over seven years as its principal investor and CEO, and ultimately executing a successful exit — while maintaining the trust and continuity that made that exit possible. That experience, not a framework, is what gets applied to every succession and exit engagement.

Organizational & Management Advisory

As businesses grow, the organizational questions become as important as the strategic ones. How teams are structured, how accountability is defined, how decisions get made —

these determine whether a strategy actually works or remains a slide deck.

The work with founders and leadership teams focuses on the practical organizational challenges that arise as companies scale: refining go-to-market approaches, clarifying internal operating rhythms, and aligning day-to-day execution with strategy. The engagement is direct and working-level — focused on better decisions and their implementation, not open-ended process.

Mergers & Acquisitions

Whether buying or selling, the quality of your advisor determines how a transaction unfolds — the price you achieve, the terms you negotiate, the problems you anticipate, and whether the process holds together when it gets difficult.

SKL Advisors brings both sides of that experience. Transactions have been executed as investment banker and as principal — which means the work goes beyond running a process. It includes understanding what the counterparty is thinking, where leverage actually sits, and how to protect a client’s interests at the moments that matter most.

Engagements span sell-side, buy-side, carve-outs, and roll-ups — with particular attention to transaction structure and tax efficiency, so the terms negotiated at the table translate into value actually received at closing.

Executive Offsites & Founder Roundtables

Some questions are too important to be worked through between meetings. SKL Advisors organizes and moderates focused executive offsites and founder roundtables —

structured sessions, away from the distractions of day-to-day operations, designed to surface issues, test assumptions, and crystallize the case for a strategic pivot when one is warranted.

The work is hands-on: framing the agenda, guiding the discussion, and ensuring the session produces decisions rather than just dialogue.

SKL Advisors does not publish a transaction list. A significant portion of the work is conducted with a level of discretion that clients depend on — and that is taken seriously. A direct conversation will establish both the depth of experience and the fit of approach.
